Boracay Pics
Hi everyone, well we're still here in Boracay and the sun is shining as always! Yesterday I decided that it was time to get a haircut and had the misfortune of having to brave a philipino barber. Unfortunately he didn't quite understand what I wanted. However, one pound fifty isn't too bad for a perm and highlights!
Today we thought we'd take a break from the sun to upload some pictures for you all (aren't we kind! haha). Also, in the next couple of days we'll put together a movie of the island for you!! Enjoy!

My sand castle masterpiece and Louise posing again!
White beach....and Louise posing yet again!!!

Beautiful Boracay!
After a couple of days in Manila we hopped on a plane heading straight for the tropical island of Boracay. Having heard about this place as being a tropical paradise we just had to check it out.
It really is as stunning as it looks in the pictures, with white sand beaches, clear blue waters and cocktails that cost just pennies. Not to mention a beach cottage costing just 5pounds a night (for two people) and all you can eat buffets for two pounds!!!
But the day after arriving our luck just had to run out..... the clouds arrived and I came down with a bout of suspected Dengue fever! Ok, so it turned out to be just a cold-turned chest infection, but really, it was like I was dying! Otherwise known as man flu (louise wrote that bit!).
Anyway, the weather is getting better now and having spent a few days here now we've decided that we're gonna stay here for the next couple of weeks to soak up the rays and stunning scenery and spend the evenings drinking cocktails! Oh and we might just get in a few massages along the way...which they do on the beach to save you having to move anywhere!!!
Once the weather does get nicer, we'll post a few more pictures! Now back to work everyone! haha

Mucky Manilla!
We've now been in Manilla since yesterday and well it's like a cross between India and Thailand. It smells like India and is pretty dirty with loads of poverty, but yet the people are friendly (well most of them!) like in Thailand.
Also, everything is dirt cheap and by that I really do mean cheap. For example, a litre of rum costs just 1 pound 20p!! A pint of beer is about 50p in the pub and a sandwich sets you back 26p...with a free drink included!!!
Tomorrow we're off to the Island of Boracay, but for now, here's a couple of pictures of yesterday's sunset. - hope you're not all too gutted!
